Party & Fall Festival

Take part in Talking Rock's Annual Fall Festival and Anniversary Party with a Southwestern Hatch Chile Roast! Chef Richard and the culinary team won't spare any expense in making 2016 the most memorable Anniversary yet! Not a tequila fan? No problem, Morgan's Bar will pair any spirit you prefer with this Rio Grande favorite.

Luncheon Following Play 
September 6 - Member Ran Watercolor Class

Join Member Susan Olson, for a 5-week course on watercolor painting. The first class will be an introductory class previewing the course, and going over materials and class content over the course of the 5 weeks. Look forward to beginning techniques for using watercolor, exercises and small projects and ideas for landscapes. A small travel pallet will be provided, along with different paper types. There is only room for 10 people so make sure to reserve your spot!

Come to Morgan’s Bar on Monday night, September 12th as we ring in the Monday Night Football season with our traditional MNF bash! September 14 - Ladies Luncheon 

**Luncheon is OPEN to all members and guests.**

Following the luncheon provided by Chef Richard & the culinary staff,we will be offering an optional basic floral design class.

Talking Rock member Pat Lorenzen will teach the basics of fresh floral design.
This HANDS-ON CLASS will feature an instructional handout, fresh flowers and supplies. Learn how to use floral foam & containers, cut and care for fresh flowers, wire & taping techniques, basic design concepts, identify line, fill, & focal
flowers in design. The floral class is limited to 20 attendees, and costs $20 which covers the cost of supplies.
  • Each attendee will make her own arrangement to take home from the class.
  • Please bring a pair of sharp flower snips (not scissors)

October 11 - Flu Shots at Talking Rock

Safeway Pharmacy will be on site on Tuesday, October 11th starting at 12:00 noon offering Flu Shots. If you would like to RSVP, please email Director of Fitness, Pam Mitchell
November 4 - 2017 Artmart

This year’s Art Mart is on Friday, November 4th from 3:00pm – 6:00 p.m. in the Ranch House. There will be a raffle for gift baskets and an optional buffet.
Stay tuned for more information about the Art Mart and to make reservations for the dinner buffet.Artists/Crafters Recruitment info:
  • The deadline for member artists/crafters to reserve their space is Thursday,
    September 15th.  There is no charge for their participation.
  • We will feature approximately 24 artists/crafters.
  • We’re offering spaces first to our Talking Rock golf, social, and dining club members and will only invite member-sponsored guest artists/crafters if we have additional space available. 
  • They are to email me at to (1) reserve a space (2)provide with a brief description and a photo or two of the art/crafts they will be selling.
  • An informational meeting for participants will be scheduled for the end of September.
